Santa Teresa is a Fun punchy beach break, Fun Surf Year Round!

On the right swell direction Santa Teresa WIll have A-Frames up and Down the beach!

The Spot: Playa Santa Teresa is approx. 3km of mostly of white sand beach break. Main peak is called La Lora with plenty peaks both South and North of it. Wave breaks on all tides however mid to low tides are best. Wave packs way more punch than Playa Carmen and there are definitely barrels to be had.

The Crowd: Main Peaks are way more busy and more agro than Playa Carmen. Show respect and you’ll be fine.

Ideal Wave Height: This spot works from waist high to double overhead.

X Factor: Natives and locals can get agro if you don’t show respect. A word of advice don’t paddle to the main peaks and hog waves. Definelty don’t back paddle or snake anybody. There are so many peaks all you need to do is walk down the beach to a less busy one.
